Kyajo Ri Peak Climbing Situated at a summit of 6186 meters in the Khumbu region, Kyajo Ri Peak is one of the most fascinating climbs in Nepal. It is regarded as an ancient and isolated peak, almost in the lap of the Himalayas. This legendary peak, Kyajo Ri is located just north of the Namche Bazaar and is considered the highest trekking peak on the southern ridge made up of the Thame and Gokyo Valleys. Kyajo Ri Peak is one of the toughest climbing peaks with an altitude of 6,000 meters.

Technically demanding as well as an adventurous climb, the Kyajo Ri Peak Climb is one of the most famous treks in Nepal. The hiking trail is quite tough and challenging for climbers; they must have a proper guide and must be fully trained in the use of a fixed rope, ice screw, Jumar, main rope, and other necessary equipment. A professional and experienced climbing Sherpa guide will help you overcome this challenge. Before going for Kyajo Ri Peak Climbing, climbers will be given a training course, and learn the various aspects of climbing techniques such as ascending and descending in a straightforward climb, using fixed ropes, glacier traversal, and many others.

The best time to climb Kyajo Ri Peak is during the spring season from March to May and the autumn season from September to November.
