Discover the Amazing Manaslu Trek – Nepal’s Hidden Treasure

Are you ready for an exciting adventure The Manaslu Trek is waiting for you! Few people know about this less-trodden and restricted region of Manaslu Circuit Trek in Nepal. It is 16 day journey, and you will hike from  600 to 5200 meters high. Along the way, you’ll see different cultures and beautiful mountains. People often call it Nepal’s Last Hidden Treasure. This challenging and restricted region route is integral to the Great Himalayan trails. It’s a great alternative to the famous Annapurna trek.

Manaslu Circuit Trek: Explore the Tibetan Culture

Our adventure begins in Lapubesi after a scenic drive from Kathmandu. We’ll follow the Budhi Gandaki River, which flows through a valley. Most of the Manaslu Circuit Trek takes place in a region called Nupri. It has a lot of Tibetan influence because it used to be an important trade route.

As we go higher, you’ll notice a change in the culture from Hindu to Buddhist. Instead of temples and ghats, you’ll see things like Mani walls, Khanyi gates, and Chortens. This area is also home to rare animals like snow leopards, grey wolves, musk deer, Himalayan Thar, and blue sheep. Keep your eyes open for these amazing creatures!

Crossing the Larke Pass

Crossing the Larke La pass is one of the most exciting parts of our Manaslu Trek. It’s a challenging part of the trek and has a long history as a trading route. This pass connects two valleys in the mountains. You’ll see some of the most beautiful views when you reach the top. You can see mountains like Himlung, Cheo Himal, Larke Peak, Annapurna II, and Mt. Manaslu. After crossing the pass, we’ll descend into a valley called Bhimthang. Here, our path joins the famous Annapurna trek route. We’ll finish our adventure with a drive back to Kathmandu.

16-Day Manaslu Trek: Join Us in Spring or Autumn 2024

The best time for the Manaslu trek is spring (March to May) or autumn (September to November). We have planned trips in both 2023 and 2024. This adventure takes about 16 days.
